About Path 2 Patrol

The idea of Path 2 Patrol was created after being part of other Discord servers that offered law/legislation. However it was not quite up to our standards and did not find it useful enough for new Police enthusiasts that actually wanted to learn, so we decided to create our own with a vision to provide a different service.

We started the Discord server late 2024 with the aim of providing detailed legislation that would allow others to educate themselves on law and what is used on a daily basis as a UK Police Officer. As server owners, we are both experienced in the Policing world with 7/8 years of experience between us which only gets better each year, as serving members of the Police service.

We then thought, what about those that are in education or going through the PCDA route to obtain Policing related degrees ?

In response, we decided to add pieces of case law to work alongside specific sections in legislation to support the understanding of its historic cases and examples of what has been decided in a court previously.

The goal post for Path 2 Patrol is ever changing with weekly Q&As on all kinds of topics, ultimately being as useful as we can to both serving Police Officers/Staff, those wanting to join the Police or those part of the very popular 'FiveM' Grand Theft Auto V based mod which sees thousands of people utilised UK legislation on a daily basis.

As part of our 2025 road map we intend to release self learning courses on website which will include targeted topics such as all things Roads Policing, Stop Searches and even exactly what first aid training is given to Officers, which is refreshed yearly.

We are extremely pleased to have grown so quickly in such a short time and our only goal is to help others learn and educate themselves and/or others. For those that share our passion, applications/expressions of interest will be opening soon to join our team; whether this be moderation of our Discord or supporting research for new legislation topics or responding to questions.
